The singer is popularly known by his stage name called, ZenG. He belongs to Germany but does not have fluency in the German language but the English language. His stepdad was from Mississippi and had joined the US army. He spent most of his time with his stepdad and hence has a command of English.
ZenG is creating songs and music individually but might get along with a label, too, if opportunity strikes the door.
Songs created are of the rap genre that ZenG has created himself. The idea of making rap occurred when he discovered he was a better rapper than a singer. So he started rapping at the age of 10 or 11.
It was in 2019 or 2020 when ZenG released his first song.
As far as a stage name is concerned, Zen is the singer’s nickname. Zen is because he likes to sort out matters nicely and peacefully. However, he believes that it’s impossible to always cope with the intensified situations calmly, and then G comes in.
ZenG’s process for music composition varies from situation to situation. His song styles are versatile. One of his songs, called “Whispers,” depicts the emotions and negative thoughts he felt at a particular period. On the other hand, his new song called “Bad Boys” is a different line of emotion. The basic idea of creating songs is to make a mix of an old and new school.
He tries various beats making, and if he discovers some beats that fit the music and the situation, the first step to music making is completed. The beat lets him write lyrics according to the situation or story synchronized with the beat itself. So the mix of lyrics, sound and beats enables him to develop a new song.
During his childhood, he and his father enjoyed listening to and singing songs together. This created a beautiful connection between them. So in times of distress and loneliness, ZenG preferred listening to the same songs to return to the beautiful old memories he had with his father. This feeling inspired him to start making his music.
ZenG will be coming up with a completely distinct music composition. It will be a better and improved version of his songs.
