Born in Nigeria, but currently living in Delaware, the USA the artist officially began making music in 2020 and released his first single in April of the same year. The music that Chief produces belongs to the genres of Rap, Trap, Hip Hop, R&B, Afropop, Afrobeat, Dancehall, Reggae, and World Music. The artist has so many styles of music that none of his music sounds the same. He uses various voices and styles of voices, making each song unique and distinct. He does not use autotuned or voice enhancers and portrays his natural talent. Chief states that he loves hip hop the most, but feels that he is ‘foamless like water.’

Chief can be found collecting inspirations for rhythms and sounds in his music, even though sounds that we hear every day. For example, the crashing sounds of kitchen utensils or even of dogs barking. He is so experienced at adapting these sounds that he can even write a story to the sounds of gunshots, click clacks, and sirens. The artist believes that music is not only an instrument or a voice, but the arrangement of sound so that it pleases the ear.
The confident, determined, and obsessed with music artist is ready to push himself further by doing other genres until he believes he is the best at it. He feels that the saying that a jack of all trades is a master of none, but is still always better than a master of none fits him well.
