Mike Ball (born April 23) better known by his stage name Ball is an American rapper and songwriter. Hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, he is an independent artist.
Delivering his first Album in 2017, Ball has been continually putting out tracks from that point onward. His main genre of music is Hip-hop.
He was in between names when a good friend told him to go by Ball then it stayed with him. Ever since then, all his tracks have been released under his Stage name.
Ball describes his music as real-life events and things he’s been through. He has a melodic anthem-type sound.
His creative process involves him hearing a beat, that’s just playing over and over in his head and then words start flowing at random times of the day unless he’s trying to do the song in one day then he just put on his headphone and push repeat and goes to work.
Ball was raised by African parents in separate homes. His Mother is from Monrovia, Liberia, and his Father is from Edo State, Nigeria. He was born and raised in Tulsa, fell in love with music then moved to Colorado when he was 16.
His inspiration to make music comes from his family, knowing how hard his parents worked, watching his brother make music and beats, and doing things like getting played on the radio.
People can expect a bunch of new music, content, and videos. Ball is dropping tracks back-to-back and doesn’t feel like slowing down. As well as starting a podcast and getting some new merch/apparel out there!
