Casey Ottmann | Thunderthief – Muzicvault

Casey Ottmann is known by his stage name, Thunderthief. He is from Colorado city. He has also signed labels with Ninety9Lives, Ohm (no more exist), and Radiokid (no more exist).
The genre of music Casey works on is related to house music. It involves lots of guitar usage, and rock-style music is infused into the composition.
Casey Ottman is not only a singer and producer of Thundertheif but also a guitarist, bassist, drummer and synthesist.
He started writing songs for different band types in 2004 but mainly composed music as Thunderthief in 2011. His first song, Chemistry ft Brian Wight was released in 2012. One of the lyrics that the singer likes is “What do you have to sing about” from the song, Drift.

The idea that made him keep Thinderthief as his stage name was related to his past anecdote. His friend used to call him “Thunder thief,” and it also became his gamer tag. He believes that this stage name matches my music genre, i.e., rock music, and it clearly shows my passion and aspiration for music. He also believes that his music best suits the dance and rock crowd.
At the start of their career, he worked for different bands having various genres. Over time, he started practicing mixing and match of different sounds and tunes to bring out a piece of unique and amusing music. With this practice, he learned to compose music and found the songs that best matched his feelings and represented his message.

Skateboarding, food, movies, and art are the main inspirations for the singer to create music. He has been a skateboarder as well. He thinks a person remains more constant on a skateboard with music. Secondly, food in this way is an inspiration for music that it holds a lot of cultural touch and unique taste of food of different places. Then movies and art have a lot of feelings that help the singer get the most from those creative moments.
Casey Ottman says he will bring more rock songs with more persistence than before. He says that his first complete record took five years, and his second record took two years. This year he will be releasing 2 EP’s at the same time, and hence it will be a loud music album.
