“We bring to you a male dancehall artist and songwriter with a passion and dreams for music since the seventh grade. Krueshef was born in the Virgin Islands, United States at the St. Croix La Grange Hospital Street. Currently working with the label Kohanim Records, the artist released his first single in 2017. The music that he makes belongs majorly to the dancehall and reggae genres. The discovery of his talent and love for music was discovered by him when he was only 12 years old while making a bet with his fellow classmates about his voice and how he can make it sound like a Legendary Dancehall Artist Bounty Killer. This bet was what helped Krueshef, and everyone around him discovers his talent and his true love, music.
The artist has followed a long journey leading to his music craft which was all about understanding and continually growing. He always knew there was something about his music and he knew that it sounded great even when the beats were not perfect and even when he was not working with the best producers. Being in the United States, Krueshef always had to struggle with not being able to have a dancehall beat as it was very rare for a producer in that country to make a dancehall beat that sounded good. Determination and confidence helped the artist overcome this challenge as he knew his talent was always with him. he worked hard, almost six days a week, to make his craft perfect and allow him to reach his goals.
Krueshef is greatly thankful to the Lord Yahisha HaMashiach for the special talent and voice that he has been blessed with. His voice mixed with the beat sends out some catchy vibes. The music that he produces is diverse and can be energetic, happy or sad. It depicts reality and can be found to be spiritual as well. Even during rough times, Krueshef tries to see the positive aspects of life and portrays that to his listeners through his music as well. When it comes to creating music, the artist works by coming up with music and ideas and then listening to a rhythm. He then allows the rhythm to speak to him and turns the groove of the rhythm into words that eventually evolve into a song.
Krueshef’s latest single was an inspiration by watching and hearing about people getting injured and dying from dancing to dancehall music. The artist found it very unusual and wondered where the fun of dancing has gone and why people are getting hurt for doing something that a lot of people love to do. Another point of inspiration for his song was that men were disrespecting women and he decided to empower women through this song. He talks about how women should be treated and encouraged their independence while dancing and having fun doing it. In an interview with us, the artist stated that he wants his listeners to be prepared for music that sends a message, is fun, motivated, kind, nice, humble, and gangster all in one!”
